Do you have to live in the Falling Oaks subdivision to be a member at the club?

No, membership to Falling Oaks Swim & Social Club is open to the entire community. We welcome families from many different neighborhoods around Medina.

How old do you have to be to participate on the Falling Oaks Electric Eels Swim Team?

Children as young as 5 years old can participate on our competitive swim team. The only requirement is that the swimmer must be a member of Falling Oaks Swim & Social Club.

Who is allowed to rent the Falling Oaks Club House?

Anyone from the community is allowed to rent our club house which offers a fully-functional kitchen. Discounted rates are offered for Falling Oaks members.

During the swim season (during normal pool operating hours), we cannot offer exclusivity of the pool for your party; however, after hours, pool rentals from 9:00 – 11:00 pm are available for your private party. Please email foharentals@gmail.com to reserve your rental date. Your date will not be confirmed until your full payment and refundable deposit is received.

Do you offer single day swim passes for non-members?

We do not offer single day passes at the gate for non-members. When you are accompanied by a current Falling Oaks member, you may come to swim at Falling Oaks as a Guest for $7.00 (not to exceed 3 visits per year). For a prospective family visit to our pool, please schedule your visit with our pool manager via fohaboard@gmail.com.

What is the youngest age for a child to be in group swim lessons?

There really isnʼt a set age. It all depends on how comfortable your child is in the water. The average age children start to take lessons here at Falling Oaks Swim Club is 4 years old.

Do the swim classes ever get full?

No, the classes will never get full. Our student to teacher ratio is 5:1. When more students sign up for the class, we add another teacher.

What are the times for all the levels?

Level 1 AM starts at 11:15 and goes to 11:45. Level 2 AM starts at 11:45 and goes to 12:15. Level 3 AM starts at 11:15 and goes to 11:45. Level 4 AM starts at 11:45 and goes to 12:15.

Level 1 PM starts at 5:00 and goes to 5:30. Level 2 PM starts at 5:30 and goes to 6:00. Level 3 PM starts at 5:00 and goes to 5:30. Level 4 PM starts at 5:30 and goes to 6:00.

How do I go about determining their level of swim experience (level 1-4) on the sign up sheet?

Level 1 would be for kids who have never had any experience with lessons before. Level 2 would be for kids who have had lessons before. Levels 3 and 4 are advanced classes who work on learning breast stroke and butterfly.

Day Passes

Day passes are not available for purchase unless you are visiting FOHA as a guest of a member. This is a requirement of our insurance provider.
